The Amazon rainforest is home to thousands and thousands of animals. In fact, Scientists are still discovering different types or species of animals in the rainforest today. Unfortunately however, some animals that once lived in the Amazon have all died out or are endangered and very close to becoming extinct.
Would you like to know some things about me? Well I am going to tell you!
What I eat: insects, fruit, nuts, seeds, reptiles, birds eggs
Where I live: in holes in trees in the canopy layer
My predators: Jaguars and other big cats, other birds...and sadly humans too
Am I endangered?: No, there are lots of me so no need to worry about me yet
An interesting fact about me: I am not very good at flying (shhh!) - most of the time I travel among trees by hopping.
You can even listen to a song about me!!
These websites will give you some information about other animals that live with me in the Amazon.
